Lincoln Has The Power You Need
Work for the heavy industry has a variety of challenges that need to be overcome depending on the job. One of the most prevalent, especially for people that are venturing out into an area previously uninhabited by humans, is to still be able to create the components or structures you need without access to the traditional environment or structure that tools and equipment need to run. Putting up a building in a vacant area, for example, means no access to the electricity vital to tools.
However, in order for the job to get done, those tools and other equipment need access to the type of power that is normally provided in a safe, climate-controlled environment such as a workshop. That’s obviously impossible under certain conditions, such as building a marine facility offshore, or even putting up new buildings in areas where no one has lived before. That’s why for welders in this situation, a welding generator is a must have.
A Century of Service
Lincoln Electric has played an important role in American heavy industry for over 100 years. In that time, the company has worked closely with the people who actually do the work, the skilled tradesmen, talking to them, watching them in action and looking at the ways a job gets done to develop new tools and techniques to improve the way people work. This has meant innovation in everything from the tools used, to the protective gear people wear.
They’ve taken that same approach with welding generators. There may come a time, such as on large, spacious farms, or simply out in the wild, where welding work needs to be done, but there isn’t any electricity available. It’s a real challenge for tradesmen that are being relied upon in such situations as experts, and the only way they can deliver satisfactory results is with the tried and tested tools they normally use. These tools need electricity that is constant, safe and reliable, and a Lincoln Welding Generator is all of these things.
Reliable Power
The Lincoln Ranger 225 Welder Generator is built to meet two needs, durability, and reliable performance. The welding generator is completely enclosed for protection, but small enough to fit on the bed of a pick-up for easy transport. It can also be mounted to a trailer or an all-terrain undercarriage if that’s what you need. In addition to powering welders, it also acts a generator for additional lights or heating, with up to 9000 watts of continuous power.
As a welding generator, the Lincoln Ranger 225 is perfect for MIG, TIG, and even Flux welding if you get the right optional attachments. In CC mode, the Ranger 225 provides 225 amps of power. If you’re using it in CV mode, it puts out 200 amps of power. It uses a 23 HP Kohler engine, with a 12-gallon gas tank. It definitely has all the features you need to get the job done.
